about

The Book

As educators in this season of school choice, we have a responsibility to provide parents with credible and quality options. If you agree but struggle with how your school can meet the challenge of these endeavors, this book is for you! Throughout the author’s 30-plus years of experience in secondary and post-secondary school administration, she has seen how the level of understanding and engagement of Accreditation Standards can impact the effectiveness and success of Private Schools. In her book, Dr. Walker demystifies the accreditation process and addresses some of the myths and benefits. In addition, she explains how the various accreditation standards can be used to build or renovate your school’s infrastructure for success. You will find this information to be beneficial for your school whether you are seeking accreditation or not.

Let me

Introduce Myself…

Over the past 15+ years of my career, I have been entrenched in the work of accreditation, compliance, and operational effectiveness in secondary and post-secondary educational institutions. During this time, I also witnessed how private K-12 schools seemed to struggle in these areas, so I started my consulting career to take all that I have learned to share and support private school leadership to enhance your ability to realize school excellence, effectiveness and growth.
